Artist's statement #4

Jo Forrest July 5, 2017

They're weapons, if they don't draw blood, they're useless.

Forgetting is impossible,

but memory is not,

we ravel up the tangle,

but the devil ties the knot.

It doesn't matter how we die,

it's how we live that counts,

time is measured out to us

in very small amounts.

Our skeletons will disappear,

their shadows will remain,

architects of symbolism

in the house of pain.

(the house of pain #224 verse:16)

mt forest.

Babe, we all have x-ray vision, and bones don't lie.
